Girl to Woman Program

What is the Girl to Woman Program?
This girls health & mentoring program has been developed to support girls as they make this super important transition into becoming a woman. Throughout the ages, this transition has always been a very sensitive and sometimes challenging time. With the current state of the world, with the onslaught of media messages and our highly sexualised, technologically advanced culture, girls today are facing a myriad of challenges to degrees that we have not seen before throughout history, making 'raising girls' a very important topic of discussion.
Through the support of this program for girls, they will gain a deeper understanding of their body, they will learn how to build the foundations of a solid relationship with themselves and will be more informed and aware of the world around them.
Some areas that are covered in the program:
The Girl to Woman Project aims to support girls to be themselves in a world that is telling them to be everything but that.
Do I have to be a certain age?
This program is suitable for ages 11 - 18 years old. After this age, a Women's Health Program would be more appropriate. If you or your child is younger than 11, please be in touch and we can discuss your options.
How long does the Girl to Woman Program go for?
To receive the full benefit and amazing power of this girls health & mentoring program, 3 months of weekly sessions is recommended. Again, this can be tailored to your specific needs, so please be in touch if you prefer it to be structured differently.
Do parents come along?
Depending on your age, your mother/father/guardian may choose to come in for the first session and every so often along the way. If you are an older teenager, this may not be needed. The program is for the support of the girl, so the intention needs to be first and foremost for her needs and comfort.
